As a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer, you will develop and implement new and improved methods for manufacturing, assembly, and testing of harsh environment sensors used in nuclear reactors, radiation monitoring, oil & gas exploration, and natural gas turbines. Your responsibilities will span from supporting daily production needs to larger projects that make a positive impact on quality and customer satisfaction.
As a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Driving improvements to process capability and documentation, and subsequent training of others
Leading improvements in test setups, test automation, and trend monitoring
Owning new equipment/upgrades from purchase through installation
Leading Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) projects
Developing and maintaining manufacturing methods and process routings
Designing and building/procuring necessary tooling, fixturing, and poka-yoke devices
Contributing to NPI (New Product Introduction) programs throughout concept, prototype, pilot, validation, and manufacturing implementation stage gates

Required Qualifications:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
Have 5 years minimum experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in problem-solving and failure analysis
Strong service orientation to the production floor and customers alike
Demonstrable successes in a high quality and regulatory environment
Ability to coordinate several projects concurrently
Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and testing both electrical and mechanical systems
LabVIEW Core 1 and Core 2, Visual Basic, MS Access
Familiarity with nuclear instrumentation and measurements a plus
Familiarity with electronics for use in extreme temperature, shock and vibration environments is desirable
Experience with IPC J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610
SOLIDWORKS experience a plus
SAP experience
