The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for Engineering associated with the manufacturing process including developing a plan of the manufacturing organization. Will be involved in discussions with other functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Design, build, implement, and maintain manufacturing assembly processes, tooling and equipment while supporting process improvement activities
Develop and improve manufacturing documentation, assembly procedures and process maps collaborating with Design and Operations teams on production improvements.
Utilize document control and ERP (SAP) systems to document new processes and changes to existing processes and products
Perform troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis to resolve manufacturing quality defects.
Participate in LEAN initiatives and implement Brilliant Factory concepts and process improvements
Lead and effectively interface across supply chain and design engineering to complete projects that meet EHS, production, quality, and cost goals.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Engineering Education from an accredited university/college with demonstrated experience in Manufacturing Production Process and Equipment.
CAD experience, prefer SolidWorks, ERP experience, prefer SAP
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and provide efficient solutions especially working with Shop floor personnel/technicians
LEAN training or equivalent quality training
Comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical tools and equipment
