Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary This person will provide a targeted range of assistance for students approved for disability-related accommodations at Washington University. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Disability Resources, manage the unitâ™s test proctoring services. Assists in the process by which alternative text accommodations (i.e., e-books and other digital files) are provided to students with disabilities. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Candidate for graduate degree (or completed graduate degree) in Higher Education Administration or a related field, with a focus on Disability Services, Student Counseling, or a related specialty. Professional and/or academic experience in higher education with students and faculty (prior experience in academic administration is more important than specific experience working with individuals with disabilities). Experience with student information systems (SIS) and Microsoft Office, and demonstrated ability to learn other programs. Proficient in collecting, entering, and maintaining electronic data. Demonstrated history of collaboration and adaptability in a dynamic professional environment. Excellent skills in communication (both verbal and written), time management, resource planning, and organization. Must be committed to spending time and attention on details. Ability to adjust to abrupt changes in priorities and strategy. Must have ability to work independently, problem solve and apply good judgment. Must be flexible and willing to work extended hours as necessary and must recognize the need to do so. Excellent interpersonal and professional skills and demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders in various roles and from diverse backgrounds. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree in related field or two years related experience. Grade G07-H Salary Range $17.83 - $27.64 / Hourly The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
