Job Description
The Sr. Strategic Proposal Consultant’s primary responsibility is to support the growth of Aetna membership by managing the development of customer focused and strategically oriented proposals that focus on overall capabilities and the Aetna value story.

Sr. Strategic Proposal Consultants are responsible for project management of medium to high complexity RFPs. They lead and/or participate in the discussion of strategy, make sure it is reflected in our proposal and have overall responsibility and accountability for the quality and timeliness of our response. They work on a wide range of proposals for National Accounts and Middle Market constituents (brokers/consultants, prospects and customers). This position offers a high level of visibility in Corporate proposals. The work we do provides our team members with a broad perspective of our business, customers and the solutions we offer.

Additional responsibilities include: responding to proposal follow-up, completing ad-hoc requests, and leading/participating in project initiatives. We are seeking candidates with a developed level of experience in project management, proposal management, and the health insurance industry. The successful candidate must be well organized, able to manage multiple projects, adapt to rapidly changing priorities, and contribute to the strategies and creative solutions that help drive success with our customers.

The position requires an individual who can communicate very effectively verbally and in writing with all audiences, resolve problems, prioritize, multi-task, and build and maintain strong relationships with our field organization and subject matter experts throughout the company.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 97,400

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of project management, sales support, marketing
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proven time management abilities.
Experience managing multiple priorities.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to think outside of the box and solve problems.
Effectively working in a team environment.
