This position is aimed at conducting neuroscience research in a multidisciplinary lab environment. The works makes use of multiple genetic models to decipher mechanisms of regulation of energy homeostasis and develop new treatments for obesity. Duties include: learn and perform experiments using mice, including feeding studies, brain histology, microscopy, and behavioral assays; learn and perform in vitro experiments such as signaling and protein expression measurement; assisting with experimental design and laboratory organizational systems; keeping detailed written and organized records of experimental design, protocols, computer data analysis; and maintaining laboratory and experimental records.
