Protecting what matters most to our associates and consumers by securing our sensitive data and critical assets from current and emerging threats. At The Home Depot Cybersecurity consists of Architecture, Governance, Identity & Access Management, Internal Threat Operations, Issue and Compliance Management, Risk Assessment/Advisory, Security Consulting, Security Operations and Strategic Planning.

As PII Compliance Staff Analyst, you have an opportunity to contribute to building a new PII Compliance program for the Fortune 25 Company who puts a great emphasis on the security of customers' data. In this role, you will help define PII, applicable control framework along with company priorities, perform control assessments, support remediation activities and drive IT decisions based on the results of the assessments.  Closely interact with the broad range of IT and business stakeholders across the company, to include but not limited to, Data Protection, Data Governance, architecture review board and other.

Cybersecurity Staff Analyst performs data gathering, analysis, synthesis and develop solutions to support THD Cybersecurity practices. Staff Analyst mentors and guides Jr Analysts. Leads multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, works well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functions across the organization

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
100% Deliver Execution, Plans & Aligns, Develop Others - Oversee multiple projects simultaneously; Strategic partner to align solutions to customers expectations Communicate to various levels of business partners; Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers and others to deliver high quality solutions; Partner cross-functionally to define assess, communicate, implement, train and change management of projects; Lead, mentor and provide guidance to team members and partners; Serve as SME and perform research/analysis within assigned projects

Nature and Scope:
For Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City residents: The pay range for this position is between $100K and $165K. Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive financial and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position

Environmental Job Requirements:
1. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

No travel required.

Standard Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
5 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of previous leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of PII and experience working with privacy and PII regulations (HIPPA, GDPR, CCPA etc.).
  • Stand up security and/ or compliance programs for organizations of different sizes.
  • Knowledge of information security, technology and regulatory frameworks (PCI DSS, ISO, NIST etc.).
  • Define security control frameworks to protect PII or other types of data.
  • Perform control assessments against regulatory frameworks with ability to communicate gaps to IT and business partners.
  • Drive and monitor issue remediation activities to ensure gap closure.
  • Provide consultative advice to IT and business partners that enables them create systems and processes adhering to the set of PII controls.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with individuals and groups involved in managing compliance and information risks across the organization.
  • Possess a security and or privacy certifications (CISA, CISSP, CIPP, CIPT etc.)
