We are seeking an Inside Sales individual who will drive growth both within established customers as well as new prospects. This role is intended as a learning and proving ground and candidate will be expected to be able to progress into Senior Account Manager role within 2 years. The successful candidate will be expected to be a high-energy, creative and resourceful self-starter who demonstrates technical and sales skills.

Manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers. You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers. Remote position. Up to 15% travel. Ideal candidate will be located near a major airport in the states of Utah, California, Washington or Colorado.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow transactional customers / while improving customer satisfaction by improving
    speed and quality of Sales
  • Help drive transactional business to eCommerce portal
  • Qualify new leads by making outbound calls to target customers (some existing some new)
    to identify and/or qualify opportunities
  • Work with proposal team to prepare and subsequently deliver proposals to assigned customers
  • Drive the sales process
  • Enter and maintain data into Customer Relationship Management product (CRM)
  • Learn then subsequently become the expert on our Budgetary Proposal tool and provide
    support to Senior Account Managers as needed
  • Meet or exceed assigned Sales Target.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience
  • Minimum 4 years of process experience
  • Minimum 1 year of sales or business development experience in one or more of the following
    markets - oil/gas, refining, power, energy, mining, chemical, industrial automation and controls
  • Minimum of 2 years of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Due to US export control laws must be US citizen or permanent resident 


Bachelors degree in Chemical or Engineering 
Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call (including cold calling),
connect and interact with potential customers

Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor

Passion for uncovering and driving new business
Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
Able to organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently and effectively

Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $63,000-94,000
