Job Description

The Manager, Physician Leadership Solutions / Strategic Communications develops and manages content in support of division initiatives, internal/external communications, and all marketing deliverables and mediums by applying advanced written communication skills, utilizing content management systems, and creating meaningful messaging in order to deliver a broad range of products ultimately impacting revenue generation, clinician recruitment, client and corporate branding.

This role leverages prior experience in marketing enablement, project management, media management, sales and client presentation support, and marketing communications.
This individual will partner with the Head of Strategic Operations, Program Manager, Division Executive Team and Corporate Communications to leverage thought leadership and develop compelling content in support of key Division Strategy initiatives. This role will oversee staff project management as necessary; assist in the execution of promotions and projects aimed at enhancing engagement of internal and external team members and stakeholders and Management to align division strategy in key marketing channels, including events, email campaigns, webinars, the design execution of print and online materials, and all relevant AMN properties.

Job Tasks:
  • Manage and create internal and external content, including white papers/presentations, blogs, survey narratives, web and microsite content, collateral, advertising, sales materials, e-mail and other digital campaigns, editorial-style articles and newsletter copy, video and radio scripts, social media posts, announcements,
  • Work with B2B and B2C audiences depending on project type
  • Maintain and convey AMN brand and voice in all written communications.
  • Write clear, concise, and engaging content that is grammatically correct.
  • Proofread material to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Proven ability in communication planning is required, including identifying key messages, tailoring content to specific audiences, and creating effective content to meet communications goals.
  • Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content that is concise and compelling.
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization, including keyword strategy, key term discovery, and optimized content development.
  • Project management, including managing execution of multiple projects, setting project goals, identifying project requirements, directing tasks, as well as overseeing adherence to budget, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Manage the project load, timeliness, and accuracy of initiatives given to direct reports
  • Work closely with internal and external graphic professionals on the creation of visual content to support communications (images, graphics, infographics, social content, and video).
  • Develop internal social media to engage team members
  • Assist with other internal and external communications activities, as directed.
Education, Certifications & Experience
  • Note: All applicants will be required to complete a writing and editing exercise
Minimum Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field
Minimum Experience:
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • 7+ years of writing/marketing/website/editorial process development/ fulfillment
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a business organization
  • 3+ years of managing a team or contractors
  • 3 years experience in content management and writing for the web
