Mgr. of Finance Business Support - Secured Lending Revenue Horizontal Products Reporting, Analysis & Forecasting Team - Military Veterans

Job Description:

The Secured Lending Revenue Horizontal Products Reporting, Analysis & Forecasting Team is part of the Consumer/GWIM CFO organization. The primary purpose of the team is to provide finance support for Consumer and GWIM Secured lending products (Mortgage, Home Equity, Vehicle Lending and Wealth Management Structured Lending). The team provides reporting, forecasting and stress testing, analytics (business cases, product profitability, analytics, etc.) and business partnering support. The overall team engages with other CFO teams and multiple partners groups. Partners include Line of Business (LOB) / Business Financial Officer (BFO) / Controllers / Enterprise Stress Testing teams / Treasury teams, among many others. The Forecast tower team owns several processes and is responsible for the models and production for each product baseline forecast and stress testing scenarios.

This position's responsibility includes revenue forecasting for baseline, stress testing, and month-end deliverables. The individual will help drive operational excellence on the Forecast team. The individual will assist in model development and re-engineering, methodology improvement, and migrating forecasts onto ForecastConnect, an End-to-End forecast automation platform. The candidate will be required to work closely with Treasury, Product & Pricing, Model Risk and other partners to successfully deliver on work product. Throughout the tenure of the role the individual can expect to gain great knowledge, exposure and acumen to the Secured businesses, but will also gain exposure to all Consumer and GWIM products supported by the broader team. Generally the work routine occurs along the corporate timeline, with ad hoc projects in between.

Required Skills:
  • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting preferred, and/or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of accounting or financial analysis work experience
  • Financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting experience
  • Strong relatable business acumen (Consumer products, P&L, organization hierarchy, business segments)
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organization, presentation, analytical and leadership skills
  • Analytical Abilities / Financial Acumen - Systematic application of a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning to examine information, interpret results and arrive at well-founded logical conclusions. Understanding of accounting (debits / credits)
  • Builds Partnerships - Builds broad-based business relationships across the organization. Skillfully influences peers and colleagues to promote and sell ideas. Proactively surfaces and resolves conflict with minimal noise.
  • Manages operational risk by building strong processes and quality control routines
  • Advanced Excel, Modeling, Data Manipulation and PowerPoint skills
