Job Description:

Seeking a candidate to join the FICC E-Trading Governance & Controls (front office/in-business) product team. The E-Trading Governance and Controls Team is a global team that reports to the Global Head of Electronic Trading. This team sits within the business and works alongside LOB & Technology and serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for all matters related to governance and controls. The team is also mandated to drive global regulatory remediation projects such as MiFID RTS6 and OCC MRA's from a global, cross-asset, cross product perspective. The team works closely with functional partners including technology, quant, legal, compliance, risk, etc. Role requires a combination of quantitative, business and technical expertise and as such requires close co-operation with our partners in trading and technology. The candidate will work collaboratively with LOBs and control partners to bring algorithms to market via rigorous internal governance processes. Candidate will also assist with, and eventually lead delivery of, certain regulatory initiations impacting FICC algorithmic activity (MIFID RTS6, 15c3-5, etc.).

Preference will be given to candidates with:
  • Fixed Income product experience/knowledge (FX, Rates, Credit, Mortgages, or Municipals)

Additional experience required
  • BA or BScwith preference towards math's/economics background
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, trading/financial markets
  • StrongExcel/PowerPoint skills
  • Excellentcommunication skills (written and verbal); Strong attention to detail required
  • Mustwork well in a collaborative team environment; have ability to learn quickly and be able to take onnewresponsibilities
  • Strongquantitative and analytical skills are required
  • Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly
  • Strong team player
  • Candidatemust have an active interest in technology and its application in finance
