McKesson is hiring a Sr Manager, Financial Operations Audit.

The Sr. Manager, Financial Operations Audit manages the team overseeing the Medical Surgical business unit audits. This role develops formal written reports to communicate audit results to management, makes recommendations as appropriate and executes internal audits within established business process controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage audit engagements, including financial audits, operational audits and integrated IT or compliance audits
  • Lead risk assessment program execution and optimization
  • Lead engagement planning, execution, reporting, and issue monitoring for the audit plan
  • Review audit issues to ensure that they are well defined and root causes understood
  • Communicate and collaborate with peers, key business partners and executives in the development and execution of the audit plan
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of audit committee materials
  • Represent and actively participate in relevant councils, committees and/or governance meetings
  • Lead talent management and staff development
  • Foster continuous improvement in all aspects of department and engagement management
  • Lead other department initiatives and deliverables to support Internal Audit Leadership

    Minimum Requirements
    • 4-year degree in business or related field
    • Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.

    Critical Skills
    • 5+ years financial and operational audit (or equivalent risk function) experience
    • Strong leadership skills including experience in leading and executing audits
    • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills including the ability to present to senior management
    • Proven track record of relationship development and management with business unit leadership
    • Problem solving skills that demonstrate logical and analytical thought processes
    • Financial accounting principles and terms, as well as core business process knowledge
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
    • Strong project management skills and/or track record of leading audit projects and teams
    • Strong staff management skills

    Preferred Skills
    • Exposure in audit/business process analysis/risk management as they relate to the Distribution or Healthcare Industry is a plus
    • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex audit topics to both business stakeholders and Internal Audit team members
    • Experience using data analytics tools to determine areas of risk and support identified issues is preferred
    • Prior experience writing audit programs and reports and building process flows
    • Comprehensive technical understanding and knowledge of internal audit

    Certification/licensure
    • CPA/CA, CIA, CISA, or other professional certification is a plus

    Physical Requirements:
    • General office demands
    • Willingness to travel up to 25-35% of the time
