In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Work on large scale infrastructure technologies like VDI, compute, storage, end user computing and voice technologies.
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications, International:

  • Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong technical developer with 11+ years of experience developing full-stack distributed applications.

• Ability to work on multiple components and modules along with engineers from different disciplines.

• Implement with high-quality product features/user stories collaborating with Leads and Product engineers.

• Strong skills in scripting and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities:

• Estimating, and implementing strategies for completing projects on time.

• Guiding the work of team members – providing clear and concise technical direction and instructions.

• Identifying bottlenecks and collaborating to resolve issues proactively. Escalate risks and work towards continuous improvement of the product.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / MCA

• Proven technical experience and product delivery

• Software development experience in C#, .Net core, REST/Web API and other Microsoft Technologies.

• Experience developing scalable distributed applications / infrastructure automation.

• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases – preferably in the cloud.

• Experience working with Asynchronous, Event driven and Messaging systems.

• Experience working in Azure/AWS/Google cloud and containerization technologies.

• Understanding and application of Kubernetes is preferable.

• Good understanding of Operating systems – Windows and Linux, and Virtualization.
