In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. Summary:
In Test Engineering, we Design, Fabricate, Prove-In, and Qualify the Test Systems that will test the non-nuclear components of nuclear weapons that we manufacture here at Honeywell FM&T.
In this position you would be a Control Account Manager (CAM), which is also known as a Project Manager or a Project Engineer. As a CAM, we manage the Scope, Schedule, and Budget for the Test System Projects. We are responsible for milestones, deliverables, and risks associated with the Projects. We also provide many levels of reporting and present Project status to a range of audiences. You Must Have:
- BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Software, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial) from an ABET accredited institution or BS Physics from and accredited program
- US citizenship
- Minimum of 6 years progressive, applied experience
We Value:
- Project management experience preferred
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Experience presenting to internal and external customers
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Primavera P6 or MS Project experience
- Experience with Earned Value Management
