Scheduled Hours 37.5 Position Summary The Data Analyst, Grateful Patient Program will drive implementation and operations of a robust grateful giving screening program. The Data Analyst, Grateful Patient Program will partner with the Senior Director of Data Analytics, the Vice Chancellor for Medical Advancement, and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Medical Advancement in the design and adaptation of criteria utilized in screening patient records for wealth and affinity factors. The Data Analyst, Grateful Patient Program will work closely with the medical advancement team, prospect management and prospect research teams to support the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities with patients, families, and friends of the School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is both data-savvy and able to collaborate across teams. Job Description Primary Duties and Responsibilities Supports the medical advancement team in their identification of potential grateful giving donors. Works with patient census data on a systematic basis, coordinating and creating lists for review by the fundraising team and care providers. Works with the senior director of data analytics to create appropriate queries. Manages, manipulates, and analyzes data, including the reconciliation of related data between systems, to determine the most appropriate patient family prospects for major gifts; facilitates identification and qualification process to ensure that grateful patient prospect families are being efficiently added to portfolios in collaboration with the prospect research and prospect management. Provides ongoing management of a HIPAA-compliant system for grateful patient prospect identification, solicitation, and stewardship. Manages all secure grateful patient program data within the University Advancement CRM. Partners with Epic data managers to ensure the timely receipt of patient information and the efficient screening of patients. Analyzes and interprets information for fundraising and campaign analysis. Recommends and implements strategies and techniques that make data management more efficient and effective. Trains staff in the correct use and interpretation of data as presented in the CRM, standard reports, and Tableau dashboards. Partners with CRM implementation team to ensure Grateful Patient data and processes are represented and appropriately configured in the new University Advancement CRM system. Thereafter, partner with University Advancement CRM Operations and Advancement Services teams regarding ongoing updates and use of University Advancement CRM system. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience in data management. Two years of experience in a non-profit or academic medical center setting. Experience in managing and working within a patient program. Salesforce experience. Statistical programming experience (e.g., R). Demonstrated success in SQL and Tableau. Understanding/experience with fundraising processes in a sophisticated and highly matrixed environment. Advanced data management and reporting skills with demonstrated ability to use software to extract, organize and report data this complex and confidential in nature. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Organizational skills with good follow through. Attention to detail and data quality control. Ability to work independently. Good written/oral/interpersonal communication skills. Excellent customer service attitude and demonstrated ability to work with people with varying technical skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus three years of related experience. Grade G13 Salary Range $62,000.00 - $106,000.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
