Job Description: The Director of Budget & Finance handles the administration and budget requirements for the execution of the approved Auxiliary Services operating budget. This role serves as the liaison to the University Budget Office to coordinate all budget functions as required by administrative procedures, directives, laws, and policy decisions. In addition, this position evaluates and forecasts revenue and expenses based on financial trends and input from unit leadership. The Director of Budget & Finance plans the optimal allocation of financial resources, which will ensure that critical needs are met while maintaining a balanced budget as well as prepares operational expenditure plans and narratives. This position also meets regularly with the Directors and other staff to clarify the budgetary requirements and answer questions related to the preparation of the budget to assist the programs in the preparation of their requests.
