VISITING LECTURER 9-MONTH ACADEMIC APPOINTMENT SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK - DES MOINES CENTER THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA The University of Iowa School of Social Work invites applications for a two-year, 87.5% Visiting Lecturer position with expertise in macro-level social work for the academic year 2022-23, beginning August 17, 2022 at the Des Moines Center Campus. The initial appointment is for one year (2022-23), renewable for another year (2023-24), pending collegiate approval and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Salary is $52,234 per year. The position includes teaching generalist and advanced social work courses, and supporting students during internships. The School of Social Work offers programs at the B.A., M.S.W., and Ph.D. levels with faculty scholarship foci in the areas of aging, child welfare, family violence, mental health, and culturally competent social work practice. In addition to programs on our main Iowa City campus, we offer MSW programs in Des Moines, Quad Cities and Sioux City along with an Online MSW program.
