The Global Liquidity Management ("GLM") team is part of the Corporate Treasury organization. The primary focus is to understand, measure, analyze, monitor, and influence liquidity utilization across the corporation, in order to ensure that Bank of America and its subsidiaries can meet all contractual and contingent financial obligations through typical market cycles as well as periods of stress. Our business partners include Global Funding, Enterprise Capital Management, Finance, Risk, and Lines of Business. The group works with business units to ascribe limits, guidelines and direction to the business in line with corporate objectives and in accordance with risk appetite statements.
Role description:
The role will be a member of the GLM Banking Products team with a primary focus on liquidity reporting, analysis and regulatory adherence with respect to Banking products. Specifically this role will lead daily regulatory reporting analysis and change implementation for Deposits, supported by two analysts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Become a liquidity subject matter expert with respect to deposits
- Understand and assess daily liquidity reporting for deposits, key drivers of daily business flows and associated impact on liquidity metrics
- Engage with Treasury Data Management, Balance Sheet Management, Lines of Business, and other key stakeholders to understand and anticipate changes in deposit data
- Research reporting issues as they arise and escalate as appropriate
- Partner with LOB, Data Management and Technology to improve data sourcing and work flows for liquidity risk reporting and/or products
- Maintain regulatory requirement traceability
- Interpret and respond to new regulations impacting liquidity
- Support other ad hoc projects within Liquidity Management
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field - or related work experience
- 8+ years of industry experience working with financial products
- Experience overseeing and leading others
- Active experience liaising with stakeholders across diverse enterprise functions
- Energetic and self-motivated. Candidate should have a strong intellectual curiosity
- Ability to drive project goals across functions with minimal oversight
- Strong quantitative background including Excel modeling
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Desired Skills :
- Understanding of Bank regulations, including Basel, FDIC, FRB and OCC liquidity requirements
- Experience working with Banking Products
- Liquidity risk management or Treasury experience
