TRC is seeking a National Service Leader to lead the technical development, work practices/standards/tool, strategic growth, marketing materials, key client account expansion, general client program development activities and performance of the national team that delivers Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services.

This recognized leader will build and continue to improve upon a competitive offering for the delivery of Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services across TRC’s National Platform.


  • Focused on TRC’s Environmental Sector growth and delivery of Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services nationwide.
  • Acts as the technical/regulatory leader for the Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services (e.g., may rely on SMEs, but needs to be very knowledge and capable of leading this specific EHS Service).
  • Develops, implements, and maintains a strategy and execution plan for delivering Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services to our key client/ targeted new client growth account program.
  • Establishes, maintains, and improves upon our branding, marketing, and sales materials for the delivery of Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services.
  • Supports and approves our Communications and Marketing Team’s activities regarding digital media campaigns and website content for Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services.
  • Establishes, maintains, and improves work standards, practices, and tools for the efficient delivery, thoroughness, and quality of Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services.
  • Mentors and coaches Services Team Leaders (STLs) for growth and delivery of Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services as part of a national delivery platform. Accountable for assisting each SLT to achieve their KPIs.


  • Professional or technical degree in engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of providing consulting services related to Process Safety Management, Pipeline Safety Enforcement and related Regulatory Requirements for industrial and commercial clients. Skills may include process hazard analysis (PHA); layer of protection analysis (LOPA); process safety information (PSI); compliance program design and developments; compliance auditing; management system design, development, and implementation; knowledgeable of the API standards for process and pipeline operations; etc.
  • Requires strong experience with design, construction, and maintenance of DOT’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Standards and OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) Standards.
  • Requires existing client base and 5+ years direct responsibility for managing and growing existing accounts and prospecting for new clients related to PHMSA Standards and PSM Standards.
  • Proven track record with successful marketing, business development, business management and oversight of regional and/or national businesses.
  • A recognized leader in the marketplace for the delivery of Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services (e.g., participates in national legislative developments, presents at national/regional conferences on the technical and regulatory topics, sought for the professional advice/ expertise, etc.).
  • Ensuring Process Safety & Pipeline Safety Management Services are presented and/or delivered to specific key clients and targeted markets.
