One signature area will be Data Studies, dedicated to improving data literacy and proficiency in work and life. This area will provide multiple program options, such as undergraduate and graduate degrees, 15-credit certificate and shorter format non-credit certificate pathway options for students seeking to join or advance data-related careers. All programmatic offerings will have multiple learning levels and flexible program timelines. Critical thinking skills will be developed in the context of data collection, management, analysis, visualization, and assessment. These critical thinking skills will be applied to specific domains (e.g., geospatial, Human Resources, administration, entrepreneurship, community impact, and healthcare). The learning environment will consist of on-site, online, and hybrid delivery formats. The university seeks a director for this area of the academic program. This is a full-time position reporting to the Associate Dean for Academics for University College. The director will have responsibility for creating and launching a catalog of programs related to data, staffing and scheduling courses, recruiting and advising students, building and maintaining employer and community partnership relationships, and collaborating on broad initiatives of the school. Ordinarily, the individual in this role also will hold a faculty appointment as a lecturer, with the expectation to teach three courses per academic year. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for creating and launching new programs related to management, organizational change, and related areas.Â Manages a suite of existing programs, including graduate certificates and degrees in Human Resources and Non-Profit Management, and undergraduate offerings in Management and Organizational Change.Â Works with coordinators to staff and schedule courses, recruit and advise students. Builds and maintains employer and community partnership relationships and collaborate on broader initiatives of the school.Â Collaborates as part of a team of subject area experts leading their respective areas, supporting efforts to create a new vision for the school. Works closely with administrative staff as well as teaching faculty in program delivery. Forecasts and follows the trends across management, organizational change and related areas, and shape student experiences around the market. Builds relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and professional development managers in order to launch and maintain relevant programs for professional advancement and placement of students. Builds relationships across the university campus. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Teaching, program development, and budget management experience in some format. Candidates should possess significant understanding and work experience in multiple areas ofÂ management or organizational change. Required Qualifications Doctorate degree and three yearsâ™ related experience or Master degree and five years' related experience. Grade G14 Salary Range $68,200.00 - $116,600.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
