Our team is looking for a Systems Administrator to focus on the development and administration of a wide variety of systems and environments. You will be responsible for deploying and configuring software and hardware releases to development environments. You will also be responsible for maintaining these systems, configuring both operating systems and software products, as well as installing required software patches and security updates for the systems. In addition, you may provide assistance by resolving system problems, creating and troubleshooting accounts, providing system backups, and performing system maintenance. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world, cutting edge systems which are changing how the Space community is doing business.

Candidate must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be supporting many development environments for software engineers working in a DevSecOps pipeline. Physical location for this work will be a mix of remote and on-site. On-site work will be a minimum of 2 days per week at either Catalyst Campus or the Parsons office in Colorado Springs.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 0-2 years of experience in system administration. Four (4) years of additional experience, applicable training and/or certifications may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree

• System Administration skills in Red Hat Linux and/or MacOS

• Experience configuring and maintaining various hardware environments

• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Computing and Amazon Web Services

• Experience with scripting languages such as Windows Powershell and Unix shell for troubleshooting and automation of routine tasks

• Experience with installation and maintenance of Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication/authorization software e.g. Active Directory, Keycloak

• Experience with support ticketing systems to organize and distribute incoming customer service requests

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities

• High level of self-motivation, ability to define, manage, and prioritize tasks in a team environment

• Must be a US citizen due to DoD contract

Desired Skills:

• System Administration skills in Windows Server 2012 & 2016

• Knowledge and experience with Docker Containers and Kubernetes

• Experience with full DevOps toolchain (e.g. JIRA, Gitlab, Jenkins, Fortify, Artifactory)

• Knowledge and understanding of software agile development life cycle processes

• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Knowledge of automation tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)

• Experience with interpretation and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

• Experience with cybersecurity tools e.g. ACAS, SIEM, HBSS

• DoD 8570 Certification (Security+, CCNA, etc.) or ability to obtain

• Top Secret clearance with DCID eligibility for SCI preferred

Salary Range: 

$48,400.00 - $84,700.00
