Job Description:

Seeking a driven, self-motivated individual to join the FICC COO team supporting Global Sustainable Finance Group (GSFG). The ideal candidate for this role must have experience working in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to multi-task and perform with a high level of efficiency. This individual will partner closely with the Front Line Unit ("FLU"), COOs and other support functions (e.g., Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal, etc.) to assist various areas within the GSFG business. The team is looking for a candidate with strong analytical abilities, a desire to learn, a problem solving mindset, adept knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent time management skills. Candidate will be a part of the FICC COO Team within the GM CoS organization.

The Global Sustainable Finance Group implements the strategy set by the Sustainable Markets Committee and works alongside BofA's eight lines of business to mobilize and scale capital deployment that is aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The two main pillars of GSFG are environmental transition and inclusive social development. The Sustainable Finance team operates across the following 4 focus areas in collaboration with all 8 lines of business to best serve our clients globally: Asset Finance, Innovative Structuring, Strategy, Data & Governance, and Advisory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Global Sustainable Finance Group (GSFG) on various key business functions
  • Help to coordinate the development and approval of new initiatives
  • Identify, assess and mitigate business risks
  • Help to increase efficiency and best practices across GSFG
  • Manage various business management routines, including business forums, support to HR processes, business continuity planning and market data management
  • Develop working relationships across key support partners to address various FLU related matters and concerns, including but not limited to compliance, regulatory, legal, model risk,trade support, technology, etc.
  • Produce various ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed by GSFG senior management
  • Expense and operational management

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4-5 years of financial services experience
  • Preferred candidates will have a background in one or more of the following areas: Front Office, Compliance, Risk, or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of Global Banking and/or Global Markets lines of business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present data in a clear and concise manner appropriate for all levels of management
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Proven experience in a role that is self-directed
  • Ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of issues
  • Highly organized, able to effectively plan/manage deliverables and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Proven ability to manage timelines and display sound judgment to escalate issues as needed
  • Critical thinker, energetic and intellectually curious
