Job Description:

Candidate will be a part of the Global Markets Data Management (GMDM) Team within the GM CoS organization.

Data Domain Management

Global Markets Data Management Group is responsible for establishing data management strategy and data governance for Global Markets. The team works closely with other groups within Global Markets, other lines of business and Enterprise functions. The team drives strategic initiatives and projects in the areas of data management and governance.

Members of the Data Domain Management team within GMDM are engaged in governance of the business data domains managed by the Global Markets LOB.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Global Markets products, data structures, and processes, experience in managing data management projects, and understanding the Bank of America policies and procedures.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support for strategic Global Markets data initiatives.
  • Enhance data governance of the business data domains managed by the Global Markets LOB, execute domain data governance routines.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of the data structures used within Global Markets Trading that cover trade, market, and reference data. Ensure strategic evolution of data schemas.
  • Provide SME knowledge and interface with various tech, quantitative, and business groups representing providers and consumers of the Global Markets data.
  • Conduct researchof issues related to data quality, definitions, transformations, and applications for specific use cases.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, critical thinking
  • Knowledge of financial markets and traded products
  • Project management skills, ability to facilitate discussions across various levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to work with large datasets using advanced Excel or SQL
  • Ability to multitask and properly prioritize multiple projects
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge of the various functions within Global Markets trading organization and other functions interacting with Global Markets, such as Operations, Risk, Finance
  • Python experience
