Requisition Number: Staff_11259 Business Unit: College of Medicine Department: Int Med Cardiovascular Med 50000584 Reg-Temp: Full-Time Regular Position Summary: This individual will provide the overall supervision and coordination of the animal and human research protocols and implementation of research procedures for the Heart and Vascular Research Laboratories ( HVRL ). The HVRL is composed multiple study areas including cardiovascular genetics, cardiovascular immunology, Joint Cardiovascular Research Laboratory (large animal studies), cardiovascular imaging, Cardiovascular Biology and Biomechanics Laboratory, and Cardiomics Laboratory which are located at both the UNMC . Investigators associated with the HVRL and many other collaborators who include consultants, graduate students, residents, and fellows. In selected research projects, the incumbent will assume complete responsibility including experimental design, appropriate literature review, conduct of the experimental procedures, collection and analysis of all data and the presentation of the results. Salary Range: $62,000 - $93,000/annual
