What will you do:

As a Big Data Technical Engagement Manager you will be:

+ Act as a SME in Big Data development team,

+ Support the Client in Big Data and Analytics systems architecture, integration, technology planning and implementation,

+ Manage Accenture team and develop business relationship with the Client.

What do we expect from you:

+ Knowledge and hands-on experience with: Cloud Environments (preferably AWS and GCP), Hadoop stack (YARN, MR, Sqoop, Hive), Scala or Java/Spark, Impala, Kafka and Snowflake,

+ Strong SQL and Python skills,

+ Experience with both batch ingestion and real-time streaming (event-based),

+ Knowledge of Devops practices and tools (Jenkins/Bamboo, Bitbucket, Git/Stash),

+ Knowledge of data security capabilities (encryption, anonymization),

+ Previous experience in leading projects in data domain (Data Warehouses, ETL, Big Data, Cloud),

+ Previous experience in leading development teams,

+ Previous experience on the client-facing role,

+ Experience with building/expanding delivery teams, building training paths and expanding team's capabilities and skills,

+ Data driven thinking capabilities,

+ Experience in using Agile methods and Jira/Confluence,

+ Excellent communication skills (very good English required) and experience in working with distributed global teams.

Nice to have:

+ Previous experience on Data Architect / Solution Architect role would be an additional advantage,

+ Previous experience with migration projects (on-premise to cloud) would be an additional advantage,

+ Experience with Financial Services would be an additional advantage.
