Job Description
As the Lead Director, Strategy & Product Management you be responsible for Aetna's Medicare Advantage product innovation strategy. You will have accountability for the strategic oversight of assigned supplemental benefits, including identification of needed improvements, alternative vendors, and significant changes to our suite of offerings in order to continue to drive membership growth and plan performance. In this position you be responsible for the development of programs, accountable for knowledge of all CMS regulatory requirements for benefit development, market landscape analysis, lead consumer concept testing and act as the primary lead on all strategic aspects for assigned benefits and programs. This role will support both individual, including DSNPs, and employer group waiver plans. In addition, you be responsible for building positive working relationships with the external vendors supporting these benefits and evaluating potential future vendor partners, including development of RFPs.

This position is remote and can be worked in any state within the United States. The position will report to the Executive Director, Strategy & Business Development.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 100,000
Maximum: 221,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
• 10 years or more experience with Medicare Advantage plans required
• Experience with Medicare Advantage compliance and regulatory environment
• Vendor management experience
• Proven track record for project and program management skilled in a highly matrixed environment
• Experience as a thought leader with influencing power to engage a wide variety of partners

Preferred Qualifications
• 3 years hands-on Medicare Advantage product development experience
• Individual, including DSNP, and group Medicare Advantage products experience
• PMP or other Project Management certifications preferred
• Medicaid experience
• Advanced degrees such as: MBA, MPA, MPP, MPH or Juris Doctor

Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
