Fall 2022 - Multimedia College Intern in GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

The candidate should be highly organized and be able to perform functions quickly and efficiently. Additionally, file management and file formats are important as this candidate may perform file organization and asset management duties. Knowledge of software to include Maya, Cinema 4D, Unreal and Unity and the Adobe suite is essential. Object-orientated programming & scripting languages such as C#, C++, Python and MEL is a plus. This is for a Fall internship. Student must work 16 - 40 hours a week from August/September to December.

The Multimedia team is looking for a Fallintern to learn new opportunities in photography production and digital asset management. This internship is for Fall2022 (August/September - December 2022), part time or full time (16 - 40 hours per week) for at least 14-16 weeks. Looking for Bachelor's and Master's students who have completed at least freshman year of school with degrees in Visual Effects, Game Design, Extended Reality, or related degree.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate should be experienced in Visual Effects, Game Design, Extended Reality or related field. Role will focus on development of VR/AR/MR applications with Unreal and Unity as well as development of 3D photo-realistic renders, motion graphic and compositing solutions for video and 3D animations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Currently seeking a bachelor or master's degree in Visual Effects, Game Design, Extended Reality or related field.
3. 2.7 cumulative gpa or higher at the time of application and it must be on the submitted resume.
4. Must have experience with file management and video compression formats in required.
5. Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
6. Must be able to work at least 16 hours per week August/September 2022 - December 2022

Must have completed Freshman year of college and be actively enrolled pursuing a degree in a 4-year accredited university. Able to work 16 - 40 hours during the Spring and Fall semesters, and typically 40 hours during the Summer semester.
