ManTech is seeking a motivated professional to support a government program office at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, VA.

The System Discrepancy Manager will serve as a key member of the program office technical staff facilitating all aspects of system discrepancy management for the program. Candidate should have experience working within a government program office and have a good understanding of NRO architectures and business processes. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  • Facilitate a discrepancy management board; maintaining all materials to support efficient discrepancy management
  • Maintain program configuration of the discrepancy, incident, reporting tool
  • Provide training to program office personnel on the discrepancy management tool and process
  • Coordinate with program development contractors and government points of contact to categorize and prioritize work off of system discrepancies
  • Arrange test venues with the program enterprise test team for verification of fixed discrepancies
  • Manage closure of discrepancies with program development contractors and government points of contact after testing has completed

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Good customer teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in the following:
    • NRO system architectures and business processes
    • Microsoft Office applications

Security Clearance Requirement

Current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance is required.

Physical requirements:

Must be able to be in a stationary position 50% of the time

Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer, scanner, facsimile.
