Role:

As a marketing strategy whiz, you know exactly what it takes to create the perfect digital customer experience using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Clients have come to rely on you for your expertise to deliver that experience with the right mix of marketing technologies. So, if you have experience combining strategy, experience design, and technology to deliver successful customer experiences, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

+ Work with the client’s marketing, technology, and architecture representatives to design and implement new customer experience strategies and solutions for the customers.

+ Gather and manage the business requirements and project ideation.

+ Create or contribute to the solution architecture design (SAD).

+ Identify, manage, and track key dependencies, issues, and risks.

+ Contribute to the business development process by participating in sales calls, assist/lead proposal development efforts and delivering client presentations.

+ Ensure overall success of the marketing technology implementations, focusing on the client relationship, financials, project delivery, resourcing, and overall program health.

+ Drive the creation of the data architecture – ERDs, data models, data glossary and the SFMC data extensions structure needed to support them.

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

+ SFMC Consultant or Administrator certifications.

+ Minimum of 4 years of executing digital marketing solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

+ Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, delivering technology solutions.

+ Minimum of 2 years with technologies and processes for CRM, content management systems, digital asset management software, web content management.

+ Previous technology consulting work experience is an asset.

Technical & Platform Skills

+ Hands on experience with Automation Studio, Journey Builder and Audience Builder.

+ Very good overall platform Setup & Configuration knowledge (Administration, SAP, Private domains, etc.)

+ Data architecture knowledge and best practices for how SFMC can import and export data in various formats and scenarios (Contact Builder, Setup).

+ Familiar with CASL requirements and the best practices for IP warming.

+ Advanced knowledge of SQL queries.

+ Some degree of experience with the creation of HTML/AMPScript emails and SFMC’s capabilities to use SSJS and AMPScript to personalize emails and drive dynamic content.

+ Best practices for contact key and overall data flows using the integration capabilities of the platform: API, MC Connect, files.

+ Some experience with SFMC Einstein, Mobile Studio and Advertising Studio.

+ Bonus points for experience working with other martech related platforms such as: SFDC “core” clouds, Adobe Experience Cloud, Oracle Marketing Cloud (Eloqua), Unica, Amperity, Informatica, Interaction Studio, Datorama, etc.

Professional Skills

+ Exceptionally strong leadership & communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multidisciplinary teams.

+ Ability and willingness to split time between technical and non-technical requirements, between client facing workshops and helping the team with the solution development and implementation.

+ Hands on experience with creating and delivering solution architecture designs and functional or technical documentation using MS Office suite (Visio, Excel, Powerpoint, Word) or others such as LucidChart, etc.

+ Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

+ Experience working with marketing teams in delivering campaigns that make use of concepts like Hyper-personalization, Orchestration, Omnichannel and Next Best Action/Offer.

+ Experience with full lifecycle projects implementations using various SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

+ Bonus points for experience in a consulting environment and/or digital agency with demonstrated track record of continuing responsibilities, creativity, and innovation.
