The leader in the growing hydrogen fuel cell industry throughout California is seeking individuals with strong troubleshooting and technical backgrounds for multiple and immediate openings as field service technicians based at numerous locations throughout Northern, Central and Southern California.

This is a unique opportunity to work for a company at the forefront of the Electrical Vehicle Boom. You will be the at the very beginning of a new revolution in the auto industry. Like all-electric vehicles, fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) use electricity to power an electric motor. In contrast to other electric vehicles, FCEVs produce electricity using a fuel cell powered by hydrogen, rather than drawing electricity from only a battery. This organization provides customers with retail hydrogen fueling for the next generation of vehicles powered by fuel cells.

Position description:

- The Field Service Technician is a hands-on technician servicing company equipment based throughout an assigned territory

- The position requires high standards of safety performance while operating the company vehicle or performing maintenance at company field locations

- Provide a working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methods

- Troubleshoot liquid hydrogen dispensers.

- Maintain a clean environment at each site

- General repair and maintenance

- Sample hydrogen gas for state regulations

schedule/compensation/benefits:

$28 - $32/hour plus overtime (average of 5-10 hours of overtime a week to support off hour customers) Northern California on high end.

Field Service Technicians are provided work orders at the start of their daily shift and will spend 100% of their time in the field throughout their region. No overnight travel. Openings on 1st and 2nd shift. They do 10-hour days.

Use of a company-issued take home hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle.

They also provide world-class training. You will have extensive in shop training then be paired with Senior Techs to truly understand the business.

The FST/Operations Manager is prior military and has a passion to hire military techs to help this company grow.

7.5% shift differential for nights.
