Bow & Arrow is a team of venture builders. We create digital products, services and ventures for game-changing businesses, including BMW MINI, Google, British Airways, Airbnb, John Lewis, The Wall Street Journal and Amex. The impact we are having is changing the way people live, bank, work, and travel. You can hear more about who we are and what we do on our website ( .

We are not your typical consultancy, and we are much more than your traditional design studio. Bringing together the sharpest creative, strategic and commercial minds, we work in tight, truly collaborative and high-performing start-up teams to accelerate concepts from ideas to market-ready ventures. We are backed by the superpower that is Accenture, which opens doors to the largest enterprises.

Bow & Arrow is on a growth journey, from a boutique venture agency to a scaled business driving new ventures across Europe and ultimately beyond. We are setting up a European team, around our new venture hub in Berlin. This means that you will be one of the founders of our brand-new studio, helping us to set up our delivery model for success.

Building a venture takes a village, and we need all types of skills at B&A. We are looking for 'genius misfits' who thrive on excellence and collaboration. We want people to help us grow and evolve – finding new work, contributing to the culture, mentoring and growing the team.

As a Commercial Strategist, you form the crucial core of the project team and are the engine room of the business supporting Strategy Leads and Senior Strategy Leads. You are here to run individual work-streams and inject fresh energy, proactivity and impact into the journey. You’ll have an understanding of the project and its challenges (e.g. understand where the project fits into the client's bigger picture).

Within this role, you will:

+ Be responsible for driving your own development, not waiting to be asked and proactively seeking out ways to push the standard of the work.

+ Have a wider impact outside of your project teams by helping to support our Strategy Interns and sharing your own unique skills and talents with the team here to keep evolving our culture

+ Develop a deep understanding of your client - the challenges they face, the market they operate in and everything else in between and build a strong relationship with junior members of the client team

+ Contribute to planning, preparation and facilitation of working sessions - both internal swarms and external client workshops and presentations

+ Carry out both primary research (e.g. interviews, mystery shopping, customer testing) and deep market research and analysis (e.g. commercial analysis)

+ Own the development and delivery of the commercial side of our strategy and venturing, including the creation and iteration of business cases for the team, working with the senior strategists and clients to refine and sell this in

+ Work closely with our creative team to help build the story and create decks and other materials needed for client meetings and pitches

+ Own the creation of project deliverables (e.g. case studies, strategy review)

+ Present your work and elements of presentations with confidence and clarity

What we love in a candidate:

+ Someone that loves to tell stories with numbers, eats business cases for breakfast, business models for lunch and investment cases for dinner

+ Someone, who feels naturally responsible for driving the own development, not waiting to be asked and proactively seeking out ways to push the standard of the work and presenting presentations with confidence and clarity

+ We look for people with a growth mindset who thrive working at pace with new and sophisticated problems.

+ Someone, who loves working autonomously as a team, be skilled at navigating ambiguity and adept at challenging your client to think differently

+ We look for entrepreneurial mindsets with 1-2 years strategy experience in innovation, prior consulting experience preferred

An absolute must-have in every candidate is that they live and truly believe our values of being driven, fearless, striving for better, bringing your authentic self and being generous in all that we do.

Our inclusion promise:

We are building a team that represents the diversity of our society and we are looking for people who will be a cultural add, not a cultural fit.

Bow & Arrow is an equal opportunity employer, which means we do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, marital status, age, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone who works at B&A.
