Velmeshev lab at the Department of Neurobiology is looking for a postdoc interested in one of the research directions in the lab (See the Research page for overall research directions). Novel ideas for research projects are welcomed as well. 

 

Experience
Ideally, this person would have expertise in one or more of the following techniques: single-cell genomics, iPS and/or organoid cultures, molecular biology (cloning, next-generation sequencing library preparation), mouse work (stereotaxic brain injections, survival surgeries, perfusion and IHC).  Bioinformatics experience is a plus but is not required since we can train you in that.

 

Starting Fall of 2022, I will pair the postdoc with one or two graduate students.
