Job Summary:

In this challenging but rewarding career opportunity, you will plan, schedule and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle. Determine material requirements from engineering and production and service schedule. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering with engineers and scientists across different sites.

  • Schedule and coordinate with suppliers to ensure purchasing activities are completed in a timely manner
  • Generates and prepares purchase orders to suppliers based on material requirements, availability and pricing.
  • Manage assurance of supply and optimized inventory of raw materials, finish goods and storage space using customer forecast, historical usage and backlog. Identify and mitigate excess and obsolete materials disposition
  • Assists in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers with Supplier Quality. Routinely provides qualitative and quantitative supplier feedback to ensure supplier performance against KPI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives within Logistics/Distribution and Supply Chain
  • Collaborate, review and plan with regular discussion with production team and other stakeholders on production ramp-up, monitor consumable usage and finished goods inventory level
  • Communicate and collaborate with overseas stakeholder(s) to support demand
  • Understand the customers’ requirements and make logistics arrangements to ensure their requirements are fulfilled. Prepare all shipping documents (both international shipments and domestic deliveries)
  • Executes to Weekly/ Monthly plan for inbound and outbound shipments to ensure customer expectations and timelines are met. Work closely with all stakeholders to resolve any issues till delivery to customers.
  • Generates and communicates business metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to the management Team

Education and Experience:

We welcome applicants with Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Strong knowledge of End to End supply chain processes is preferred. >3 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment is a plus.

Key Competencies:
  • Ability to develop procedures to meet requirement of cGMP, ISO9001 or ISO13485 Standard.
  • 3-5+ years prior experience in materials control, material planning and/or procurement.
  • Experience in Contract Manufacturing Environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems with preference on SAP. Command of MS Excel
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to organize and multi-task
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
  • Able to establish working relationships across functions to achieve business objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.

This position is located in Singapore and report directly to the Operations Manager in Singapore. Some travel is required.
