Honeywell is looking for an experienced operations leader to manage and motivate a large team of employees and subcontractors providing facilities and equipment maintenance and retrofit, and operational expertise at a large and complex Honeywell-managed facility. You will ensure that the facility and property service functions operate effectively and efficiently. You will provide professional services to operate, renovate and maintain the building, systems and equipment while meeting the needs of the building occupants. You will formulate, negotiate and manage the department's objectives, as well as provide support on strategies and plans to achieve those objectives. Responsible for the efficient delivery of maintenance service. 

Provide expertise on assigned projects concerning design, construction, development, and installation of building systems.  
Drive continuous improvements throughout the site location in support of Honeywell Facilities and Honeywell Operating System related activities
Be part of a team that creates an effective and clean work environment 

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and lead others
  • Preventive maintenance plans & Energy management
  • Budget and financial management
  • Overseeing sub contractors
  • Develop/maintain documentation


  • Minimum College Diploma in Engineering or comparable Plant Maintenance experience. 


  • Experience in all facilities management and equipment such as Chillers, HVAC, Boilers, and Electrical Distribution. 
  • Knowledge and experience in Data Centers, or similar mission critical services, and complex Utility Plants a definite asset 
  • Review, modify and monitor Annual Maintenance Service Plan. 
  • Ability to interact and engage in technical/design discussions with professionals such architects and engineers in planning building and building equipment (e.g. HVAC and electrical distribution) retrofits. 
  • Coordination of multiple employee and subcontractor schedules to eliminate or minimize impact to the client when maintenance and retrofit activities are being conducted. 
  • Respect and adherence to strict health and safety site plans and procedures. 
  • Leadership in Energy Management for the facility. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and building regulations.
  • Experience with financial reporting for maintenance and projects.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and comply with contracts and contractual requirements.
