Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant in eCommerce domain. The position will primarily be responsible for product management, business requirements, and use of technology to meet business problems. This includes using data modelling techniques, communication with senior stakeholders in organizations to formulate ways for businesses to improve. The role would work to persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or systems or solutions. Able to formalize business requirements, ready for two-way communication business communications up and technical communications down. Experience with new business models in B2B and B2C space is an advantage.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
  • Must have good understanding of ECommerce space and preferably knowledge of Hybris Commerce or Websphere Commerce server or other commerce packages
  • Expertise in Requirement gathering, stakeholder management and documentation
  • Candidate must be willing to travel for key milestones or relocate within commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN or be willing to relocate to one of the areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience Business / systems analysis experience in Ecommerce domain
  • Demonstrated ability in requirement gathering, analysis, prioritization and converting requirements to specifications
  • Experience with eCommerce systems
  • Must have worked on medium to large size custom application development projects and has exposure to all phases of the SDLC
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
  • Experience managing small teams would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
