We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Field Service Technician (BMS) with our Honeywell Building Technologies team. The role is in North Ryde, New South Wales and will see you client facing metro and CBD Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintaining Honeywell and third-party equipment, primarily Building Automation Systems and electronic security systems.
  • Overseeing Technicians and sub-contractors to ensure work is completed.
  • Day to day servicing, calibrations, and maintenance; including Diagnoses, repairs faults, programming, and commissioning in air conditioning and DDC control & Security systems as relevant
  • Navigate and interrogate BMS / Security / ICT interfaces
  • Working with cloud-based analytics software solutions to drive smart maintenance and conduct remote diagnostics that will assist the customer in achieving their KPIs through various tangible business outcomes.
  • Drive decisions through interactive dashboards and mobile applications to enable faster response to breakdowns.
  • Plan and document maintenance and repair activity as per contractual requirements and relevant guidelines, legislation, and codes
  • Participation in on-site roster to ensure appropriate site coverage as per contractual compliance
  • Retention and updating of maintenance and repair documentation

Key Experience and Abilities

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Service/Field/Electrical technician (BMS) with demonstrated experience in servicing and maintenance of technical equipment for commercial business
  • Strong experience in building (Security/HVAC/BMS/Fire) Systems including trouble shooting, fault finding and problem diagnosis.
  • Tertiary qualified (degree and/or trade with applicable licenses) not essential but advantageous
  • Ability to work in a matrix and dynamic environment with a mix of infrastructure, equipment and systems and diverse customer groups
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Current unrestricted Drivers Licence
