Program Specialist/ Project Supervisor



The Project Supervisory is responsible for the management of small, low risk projects generally categorised as Cat 5 but also Category 4 projects up to USD1,000k. They may be assigned on Category 1-4 projects as Supervisors responsible for the installation and/or commissioning activities or the management of an assigned work package within a larger project.

When managing a project they will be solely responsible for the successful Planning, Execution and Monitoring & Control of the project with specific emphasis on managing the customer and project finances. Where they are responsible for a work package on a larger project they will coordinate the above responsibilities with the Project Manager.

Regardless of project category, whilst engaged on a project, the Supervisor is required to provide support, task direction and tracking of the assigned technicians, engineers and sub-contractors. This support will consist of administrative tasks, forecasting, planning, risk management, quality management, change order management, sub contract progress payment certification.

Project Management

- Overall responsibility for completing assigned projects or work packages.
- Ensures on time delivery of projects, within scope and with zero or positive deviation.
Implement all applicable aspects of the HBS Project Management Methodology during the execution of projects through the use of Project Vision.
- Maintain a comprehensive Risk & Opportunity Schedule throughout the project life cycle.
- Maintain an effective project documentation process to support extension of time claims, change order management and progress claims
- Undertake site management of installation & commissioning activities involving direct resources, subcontractors and 3rd parties including the customer.


- Ensure applicable local and industry codes and standards are upheld.
- Ensures that Honeywell SOPs are adhered to.
- Drive for a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training and monitoring.


- Maintain a work breakdown structure (WBS) throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure that the Estimate to Complete (ETC) includes all outstanding contracted works and that the Estimate at Completion (EAC) is reviewed each month.
- Work with Integrated Supply Chain to ensure all Post Award Savings are reflected in the Gross Margin.


- Maintain a Program of Works throughout the project life cycle
- Effectively manages assigned resources to maintain productivity and achieve practical completion on the project.
- Work with Integrated Supply Chain to ensure materials are available at site as required to maintain the program.
- Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors to ensure they have sufficient resources to maintain the program of works


-Coordinate the technical requirements of the project with the Engineering Leader to ensure the final solution meets the requirements of the specification.
- Drive lower cost to serve through value Engineer and use of GES.

Working Capital

Maintain accurate revenue and billing profiles to enable the business to achieve financial plans.

Customer Relationship

-Maintains customers satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues

Service Conversion

Throughout the execution of the project ensure that all systems are designed and installed to reduce our cost to provide future maintenance.


- Have Engineering/Trade Related Diploma; Engineering degree (Desired)

- PMI / CSCPM Certification (Desired)

- Have more than 3-5 years’ delivery experience of Automation Controls Systems
