Technical Services Ride & Show Accelerated Apprenticeship Program is an exciting opportunity to work towards becoming a Ride & Show Technician in an accelerated timeframe. Candidates must possess an AA/AS Degree or higher in a technical field or a certification of completion from an approved trade school.

The program is an eighteen-month experience of on-the-job training (OJT) alongside our experienced Ride & Show Technician team.

Apprentices will spend most of their time working in venues at Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida and Volcano Bay for required OJT. These experiences are aimed to maximize learning opportunities in our diverse theme parks. After the successful completion of the Accelerated Apprenticeship program, Apprentices will have the opportunity to fill a regular full time Ride & Show Technician position as available.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

All Candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to commit to 3rd shift hours (10:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.)
  • Be physically capable of performing essential job functions, including the ability to regularly lift 50 pounds
  • Have the ability to work at heights up to 210 feet
  • Possess an AA/AS Degree or higher in a technical field or certification from an approved trade school
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License
