We are looking for a talented Senior IT Application Analyst PLM to join our team specializing in Information Technology for our CBS Business Segment/Corporate Business Unit in Columbus, IN. or approved hybrid location.
- Lead business and functional resources in the design of efficient enterprise business processes that leverage technical solutions being delivered or developed.
- Provide PLM application knowledge to various groups within Cummins so that PLM technologies and applications can be evaluated and placed appropriately on the Cummins PLM roadmap.
- Develop positive relationships with Business Process Owners for processes in the PLM space to understand business strategy and direction and the impact on the current processes.
- Design / Develop Process Solutions for business to meet the strategy objectives and Provide guidance on high-level solution direction within PLM.
- Oversee functional design teams, coaches less experienced team members on PLM functionality and solution design.
- Elicit, analyze and document functional and non-functional business requirements. Also, author and own Functional Specification Documents, communicate these to other stakeholders.
- Evaluate Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Windchill solution options that meet Business requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- At least 3 yrs of experience in PLM solutions, process, and technology using PTC Windchill for CAD, BOM and change management.
- In-depth Functional and Technical domain knowledge of PLM Windchill application is required.
- Ability to manage your own work as well as direct, mentor, develop functional teams on Windchill and engineering and manufacturing processes, as well as manage small projects.
- Strong customer interfacing and communication skills to convey design approaches.
- Essential to be able to facilitate working sessions with a diverse group of individuals for different project needs e.g. to gather requirements or to demonstrate software function.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and recommend new technologies if required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
