What You'll Do:
To oversee the day to day operations of the store. Responsible for setting up and maintaining store accounts. Responsible for store stocking and cleaning.
  • Assists with arrival day procedures; receiving store deposits.
  • Posts store receipts & balances daily.
  • Stocks and prices items.
  • Notifies supervisor of items to reorder.
  • Inventories and restocks merchandise displays in store.
  • Takes inventory or examines merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
  • Requisitions merchandise from supplier based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials. Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons or crates of merchandise, checking invoice against items received.
  • Stamps, attaches, or changes price tags on merchandise, referring to price list.
  • Stocks storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise.
  • Sets up advertising signs and displays merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
  • Cleans display cases, shelves, and aisles.
  • May itemize and total customer merchandise selection at check-out counter, using cash register, and accept cash or charge card for purchases.

What We're Looking For:
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

  • Skills/Certifications
    • Knowledge of basic math skills.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to operate essential office equipment needed to carry out responsibilities (i.e. telephone, safe, and calculator).
    • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
