Job Description
As a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor you will manage and support the warehouse and pharmacy technician team and functions related to prescription orders for patients.

You will collaborate closely with General Pharmacy Manager, Supervisors, and Senior Leadership to ensure efficiency, compliance. and organization of the pharmacy.

Your responsibilities include:

-Orders drugs, solutions, and ancillary supplies from vendors to ensure preferred product compliance. Enters inventory data and purchase orders into purchasing system

-Coordinates and supervises delivery activities. Delivers products as needed.

-Ensures compliance of policies and procedures for shipping, receiving, and delivery.

-Manages the service center inventory to maximize inventory turns while ensuring inventory levels are maintained to meet business requirements. Conducts periodic and annual inventories.

-Manages the service center assets to ensure patient availability

-Maintains files and records of all supply transactions, delivery activities, etc. Prepares reports and analysis as needed.

-Coordinates and follows-up on vendor and patient returns, product recalls, and damaged freight claims.

-Oversees the Asset Management Program. Oversees that warehouse, organized, and in appropriate condition.
-Maintains performance improvement retention and disposition logs.

-Performs account payable functions for drug and inventory goods.

- Supervises/Hires, orients, and trains new employees
-Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience working with production and warehouse operations.

1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience in a related environment.

Preferred Qualifications
-Supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical and/or production related environment
- Operations and Production Management experience
-Experience in a high intensity, fast paced production environment
-Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Continuous improvement and quality centric focus
-Customer service orientation to ensure patients' needs are met timely
-CA Pharmacy technician license

High School Diploma or GED is required
BA Degree Preferred
