Job Summary: Identifies and implements technological solutions with the goal of improving operational performance or efficiency. Job Duties: Evaluates the current state of business technology resources and identifies new technologies or upgrades/enhancements to existing technologies that have the potential to improve business performance. Conducts cost/benefit and buy/build analyses, presents findings to management, and makes recommendations. Meets with end users to assess business objectives and define user needs. Coordinates the work of development teams, ensuring that technology is appropriately installed or configured and integrates with legacy solutions. Stays informed of emerging technologies or changing organizational objectives.Experience and Education: Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues. Possesses knowledge of subject matter. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience. SAP Certification.Reports to: Typically reports to a department head or manager. Competencies: Oral and written communication skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Planning skills. Analytical thinking skills. Ability to drive strategic direction.Required Skills:• 6 years of SAP experience with three in Federal Financials / Public Sector Accounting• Expert in the Finance, Controlling, and Funds Management modules of SAP ECC 6.0. • Strong experience in understanding and meting compliance requirements for DoD Laws, Regulations, and Policies relative to BEA (DODAF/SFIS), FFMIA, Separation of Duties• Supporting DoDIG, GAO, AAA audits, providing responses and managing corrective actions• Two full implementation project/deployment lifecycle experience• Extensive experience with the functions related to AA, AP, AR, GL, Budgetary ledger, billings, cash advances, interest expense etc. • Functional integration experience with other SAP modules specifically with PS,HR, SD,MM,PP & PM• Experience in using BW & ECC queries for financial reporting• Discrete manufacturing SAP experienceDesired Skills:2 years of LMP experience in-• Review and understand compliance requirements for Department of Defense Laws, Regulations, and Policies relative to the LMP Business System Architecture such as BEA (includes DODAF and SFIS), FFMIA, Separation of Duties• Develop approach and life cycle processes to meet the compliance requirements• Provide active support to for audits with DoDIG, GAO, AAA and other auditing entities• Develop responses/work-products based on the request from audit agencies• Review the audit agencies report and recommend corrective actions
