• Technically lead and execute reliability testing of a variety of Electrical and Electronics products; responsibilities including setting product Reliability Goals, FMEA, develop Test Plans, Prepare and Execute Lab Testing, prepare Reliability Test Reports, perform Failure Analysis and recommend Corrective Actions.
  • Hands-on development of highly customized test benches for accelerated Reliability testing of a variety of Electrical/Electronic hardware (e.g. PCBAs, Automation Controllers, Servers, Network Switches, Disk Drives, Power Supplies, UPS, Batteries, Lamps, and Laser/Optical Sensors etc.)
  • Troubleshooting of a wide range of engineering problems
  • Communicate effectively with global cross-functional teams

Job Specific Knowledge
  • Hands-on experience in testing a variety of Electrical/Electronic Hardware tests
  • Must have hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Variable loads, Logic analyzer, Data Acquisition, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Ethercat, RS232/485, Devicenet, CAN, and related standards
  • Design for Reliability (DfR) knowledge & experience in product development cycle
  • Application of reliability engineering (Reliability goal setting, FMECA, FBD, RBD, MTBF Calculation, Life Data Analysis and Reliability Growth) in product validation
  • Knowledge of Reliability Analytics (Reliasoft, PTC Windchill Quality) - Weibull++, Reliability Growth, Lambda Predict, Accelerated Life Test Analysis and Predictive models
  • Knowledge of active/discreet components, fault isolation and failure analysis
  • Component level testing expertise using 16/32 bit processors, PCI bus, memories, Digital and Analog circuits
  • UL / CE and other industry standards
  • Semiconductor devices, Device Physics, Thermal Analysis, and related Failure Mechanisms / Physics of Failure
  • Data Acquisition systems and automation with LabVIEW/Visual Basic programming
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and tools (e.g. JMP), Design of Experiments (DOE) is a plus
