Principal Intellectual Property Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage project specific requests where analysis of intellectual property or customer industry market trends and financial situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. 
  • Partner with teammates to realize the value of the various intellectual property monetization programs, e.g., prepare customer patent stories through patent tech chart analysis, to ensure benefits are felt throughout the Company. 
  • Analyze and perform process improvement analysis on the various intellectual property monetization programs to maximize value and performance. 
  • Partner with colleagues to support and facilitate licensing and sales program execution and identify/remove roadblocks where needed. 
  • Develop and/or manage opportunity tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure achievement of key initiatives and deal opportunity funnel. 
  • Provide expert input and hands-on updates to internal and external websites that provide additional value to the licensing and sales monetization efforts.

  • Strong AT&T business and financial acumen
  • Good knowledge of AT&T products, services, and technologies
  • Data gathering, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate with Senior Management levels
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Licensing and sales experience a plus

Education: Generally a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: Typically 5 or more years of experience in Intellectual Property Management, Licensing or related field.
