Customer Service Agent

Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious Customer Service Agent to join the team based in Newmarket. There are 6 excellent Customer Service Agents, including a Team Leader. They are the main point for contact for our UK based clients, guiding our customers through the post-sales process. If you are enthusiastic, confident and love talking to other people - this role was created for you!

What You Will Be Doing at Arrow? 

The Customer Service Agent at Arrow will work as part of a busy team providing excellent Customer Service to Arrow customers. You will be responsible for providing day to day sales support and customer service activities for assigned accounts.

  • Providing support to customers and internal Account Managers in the day to day running of the accounts and assisting with customer queries.

  • Liaising with other departments internally e.g.: Purchasing, Accounts, Despatch, Technical Consultants, to fulfil customer requirements/queries, organising shipments etc.

  • Resolving queries and raising credits where necessary.

  • General administration duties: preparing reports etc.

  • Updating customers of delivery expectations.

  • Customer Service experience.

  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Applications.

  • Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to their workload.

  • Understands the sales process and the importance of customers.

  • Good organisation skills.

  • Working hours: Mon-Fri 9.00-5.30 with 1h for lunch. You will need to be flexible at busy periods and willing to work over the standard working hours if required.
