Senior Director, Talent Acquisition Delivery

Our Talent Acquisition (TA) Delivery team is responsible for attracting and hiring top talent to meet our aggressive hiring needs for our core businesses in the US and Canada.

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition Delivery is a highly visible leadership role that consults and collaborates with our internal and external business partners to understand business strategy and hiring needs. They are responsible for managing, engaging, coaching, and developing an ambitious team of Talent Advisors across multiple locations to ensure those critical hiring needs are met.

Additional Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverages recruiting metrics and analytics to provide insights to the business, drive decision making and measure team productivity (i.e., SLAs, and customer satisfaction).
  • Ensures alignment in delivery across McKesson and our RPO partners.
  • Innovates, evaluates processes and exchanges best practices to continuously improve results as well as leverage resources and programs across the enterprise.
  • Proactively identifies talent risks and creates and executes strategies in partnership with business unit leaders and key partners to mitigate.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to business unit leader and uses business acumen and professional expertise to influence decision making.

If you are an experienced, results-oriented Talent Acquisition people leader with strong relationship building skills who enjoys taking ownership and overseeing a team, but also stepping in to provide hands-on support when needed, this may be the role for you.

Typical Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, organizational development, a related degree, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition with supervisory and recruiting experience
  • Talent Acquisition leadership experience delivering in both high volume/front line and professional/technical roles

Critical Skills
  • 5+ years in TA metrics and data analysis identifying key success measures and using data to monitor sourcing effectiveness, delivery efficiency/quality and overall performance.
  • 6+ years of experience as a successful team leader with a proven track record of developing your team for future roles
  • At least 3+ years of experience regularly interfacing and communicating with senior leaders up to and including C-suite
  • Ability to translate business plans/workforce planning to creative recruiting strategies that drive overall business effectiveness
  • Experience working in a geographically dispersed and complex or matrixed environment
  • Experienced at effectively leveraging and building optimal working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Expert knowledge of employment law and corporate recruitment practices

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Workday ATS, or similar
  • Background in managing RPO relationships
