Advanced Manufacturing Engg. - Military Veterans

This position is overall responsible for driving & leading AME for MMS HBT India organization & ensuring timely execution & flawless transition of NPI projects to manufacturing in HBT India. The AME leader will report directly to the India Mass Mid Segment – Engineering leader and will be based in Pune.

Job Expectations:

·Work in Mid-Market Segment, team of Honeywell as an Individual contributor with significant responsibilities as AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineer) leader.

·Strong Mechanical design skill set, understand GD&T, tolerance analysis

·Tool knowledge of Pro E, CFD and other simulation tools

·Conversion of idea to manufacturable product

·Good manufacturing process, able to lay out manufacturing process step in working with Manufacturing team

·Ensure process capability & capacity to meet current & future demands

·Good understanding of overall product and system which include electronics, mechanical, software

·Test and Jigs development as required in Manufacturing

·Understanding of labour and overhead in product costing

·Interface with Design team & manufacturing organization organizations to collaborate on various initiatives

·Collaborate with Design Engineering teams

·Responsible for design for manufacturing through the creation of applicable manufacturing process standards

·Responsible for acquisition of New Manufacturing Technologies required by ISC to stay competitive & keep ahead of the competition.

·Responsible for the management of the ISC capital budget including planning, approval & implementation of facility & production assets.

·Owner of the manufacturing readiness into supply chain teams & plants.

·Facilitates the site selection analysis & "make versus buy" decision making processes.

·Owner of the Mfg. readiness into the supply chain teams for NPI’s/Transition.

·Responsible to support the ISC portion of due diligence process for right partner with suppliers & key players.

·Responsible for Management for ISC Capital Budget for new NPIs & Transition project.

Qualification:

· Proven track record of end-to-end product development and product launches

· Minimum of5 years’ experience in the areas of Handling New Product development at Mfg site.

· Having Six Sigma Green Belt; Lean Expert/Black Belt certification will be an added advantage

·  Hands on knowledge of Industrial & manufacturing Engg tool & techniques

·  Must have proven track record of Successful Handling of New Projects

·  Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams

· Understanding of India market related to HON business i.e. security, fire or building control will be a plus

·  Willingness to travel up to 25%+

·  An understanding of the local market opportunities
