Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Program Protection Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the GBSD program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. This role may be filled at a higher level based on qualification below What you'll get to do: Be the main focal point of contact for Government Intelligence Team to different sections within the company. Provide mechanism for Threat based Request for Information (RFIs) between government and different sections within the company. Ensure threat library is organized, updated and maintained at all levels of classification. Provide threat briefings on a regularly occurring basis or as required. Coordinate with Intelligence Community for latest threat information. Participate and advise in a variety of working groups. Support OPSEC and Insider Threat programs. Conduct all-source Analysis activities and provide capabilities on a broad spectrum of threats. Ensure communication of threat environment with stakeholders. Support MDT with other duties as assigned. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.   You’ll bring these qualifications: This position may be filled at a Principal or Sr. Principal level Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM discipline Minimum Bachelor's degree and 5 years of Intelligence Analysis, Operations Officer or related experience; Master's degree and 3 of related experience (Sr. Principal level requires a Bachelor's degree and 9 years; or a Master's and 7 years) Minimum 2 years of applying and understanding security best practices in addressing program protection risks Active DoD Secret clearance with investigation within the last 6 years, and must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret & SCI Clearance and Program Access. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: 2 years in the ability to show self as team player, able to multi-task, able to generate quality work products independently, able to make excellent judgement and show interpersonal skills 2 years in showing the ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings Direct experience in conducting supply chain risk management or supply chain security activities Direct experience evaluating program processes and compliance strategies for large, complex multi-site programs A solid understanding of Program Protection applicable to US Government Defense Programs, and applied knowledge in the application of Systems Security Engineering principles across a broad spectrum of security measures (Cybersecurity, Counterfeit Awareness, Anti-Tamper, HW/SW Assurance, OPSEC, etc.) to protect critical program information (CPI) Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering concepts and tools Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
