Focus in the US Cash Equities space

  • Product Owner/Business Analysis/Project Manager related responsibilities in the Low Touch Equities platforms (High Touch equities experience is also helpful)
  • Product Owner role - Analysis, Requirements/Use Case documentation, Test scenarios/cases review
  • Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and Use Case creation, experience with Requirement traceability Matrix (RTM) and testing documents, Functional specifications
  • Business Prioritization, Product Roadmap management
  • Liaison with the business for prioritization, expectation management, roadmap formulation
  • Interaction with Technology, Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Production Support teams as needed
  • Project Management duties revolving around SDLC leveraging Agile approaches/methodologies Will be some work on executive level presentations/speaking
  • Implementing business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders (Equities Technology, Front Office Business, Production Management/Development Teams, Operations, Production Support, other Technology teams); identifying business needs

Required Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: securities, quants, artificial intelligence, or machine learning

Desired Qualifications

  • A Masters degree or higher in computer science or finance
  • Basic knowledge of industry regulations related to building technological solutions
  • A professional certification in technology

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years working in a large enterprise and financial/capital markets environment
  • Strong knowledge of various PM Tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Powerpoint, SharePoint
  • Familiarity with Equities Cash workflows and business (from client trading through to booking and regulatory reporting – Equities Electronic Trading workflow, client ingress through exchange/ATS egress)
  • Ideal if the candidate has experience with Fidessa, FlexTrade, and other Order Management Systems platforms; FIX knowledge; US marketplace familiarity (e.g., US equities exchanges, ATS, etc.)
  • Background, knowledge, experience working with Algo Trading products and Smart Order Routing (SOR) trading tactics is helpful but not must have
  • Experience/expertise in QA functionality – dealing with QA teams, driving QA deliverables

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
