Summary

Under the guidance of the Senior Auditor, incumbent will have direct responsibility for performing specific audit procedures or audit projects of Sealed Air's departments, divisions, subsidiaries to determine compliance with established polices and procedures, to evaluate internal controls and processes, and to make recommendations for improvement. Willing to travel up to 40-50 percent, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Auditor in the development of scope for audits and selection and development of appropriate audit procedures.
• Capacity to function in a high-performance culture including the ability to multi-task and work effectively with limited supervision.
• Complete pre-audit activities assigned by the Senior Auditor, including audit client survey, audit program development, and communications of objectives to audit customer before audit commences.
• Perform detailed testing of transactions across various business and operational processes. Prepare working papers to document procedures performed.
• Assess results/impact of testing and identify deficiencies or concerns. Assist with developing reasonable and cost effective recommendations to address each.
• Prepare or help prepare audit report for review. Assist in contributing to theclosing meeting with audit customer management to discuss audit results and issue report.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s)previous work experience in accounting or finance
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
• Achievement of or progress toward CPA, CMA or CIA required

Additional Qualifications
• Possesses uncompromisingly high ethical standards
• Strong analytical, financial analysis and problem solving skills required
• Effective time management skills in order to facilitate multiple priorities and firm deadlines
• Solid understanding of USGAAP and GAAS
• Effective comprehension of Sarbanes-Oxley and Key Controls
• Proficient English writing and communication skills required
• Advanced knowledge of MS-Excel and MS-Word required
• Experience in using SAP ERP application
• Experience in performing audit testing of information systems - highly desirable
• Foreign language skills (especially Spanish, Mandarin, French, Italian) - highly desirable

-Preferred requirements:
• Experience in multi-national manufacturing corporation
• Knowledge of IFRS and differences to USGAAP
• Exposure to operational and process improvement initiatives

• Experience with ACL, IDEAS or other data analytic tools
