The Global Positioning System (GPS) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team is seeking a Data Management (DM) Lead to join our team in El Segundo, CA.An active Secret clearance is required.

The GPS SE&I Team provides engineering, technical analysis and subject matter expertise (SME) support to GPS programs. As a member of our GPS SE&I team, you’ll work in a high-paced environment with Government personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for position, navigation and timing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of direct report and their functions
  • Manage and execute the customer processes in accordance with the Data Management Operating Instruction
  • Collaborate with Government and Prime Contractors on processes, schedules and concerns
  • Establish and hold weekly Tag-ups with team and provide guidance on their day to day task
  • Report weekly to management on DM activities and metrics
  • Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Processes incoming Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) for review
  • Reviews contractor documentation to ensure adherence to format and quality standards
  • Tracks and distributes documents to stakeholders, while maintaining audit trail
  • Reviews and reports on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness
  • Prioritizes requests for information and communicates schedule to all stakeholders


Required Qualifications

  • 10 years’ experience with BS degree or 15 years’ experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and power point
  • Knowledgeable in DoD 5010.12-M Data Requirements Reviews
  • Ability to work well with government team
  • Extremely motivated individual who is a self-starter and works well in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent reasoning and strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Must hold a Secret Security Clearance
